Every build shows about how many credits it will use before it starts. Its browser checks and repairs are part of the build, not a separate job.
A build holds its credits when it starts, so it never stops part-way for lack of credits, and an AI call that fails costs nothing extra. A build that stops on our side pauses where it was.
Unused plan credits roll over for 3 months. Top-up credits never expire while your account is open, and stay usable after you cancel.
Any time, in the app or on your account page; your plan runs to the end of what you paid for. Your sites stay online, because they live on your own host account.
Your first payment of any plan is refunded in full within 14 days if you've used less than 20% of its credits. Unused top-ups can be refunded within 14 days.
Changing words, photos, styles, sections, pages, menus and links never uses credits, on any plan.
We tell you about a price change before it applies to you, so you can cancel first. Yearly plans keep their price for the year you paid for.

Against the others
Website builders charge rent to keep a site online. With Iris you pay for AI only while you build and change it.
First year of one small-business site on your own domain with no builder badge. Competitor figures are their cheapest plan that allows that, at list price, for 12 months (time-limited offers aside), and include their hosting. Iris figures leave out your domain (about $10 to $20 a year) and use your host's free plan. Prices seen 27 October 2026.
Questions
Yes. On a Windows PC with a graphics card that has 24 GB of video memory, Iris's AI runs on your computer: unlimited sites, every feature, no account. You pay only for your electricity, your domain and any paid host plan you choose.
Most computers don't have a 24 GB graphics card. Iris Cloud runs Iris's AI in the cloud instead and writes several pages at once, so builds finish sooner. Building, previews and browser tests still run on your PC.
No. Cloud AI in Iris is available through Iris Cloud only.
Nothing. They're published to your own Netlify, Vercel or Cloudflare Pages account and the code is yours. You can keep editing them for free, and keep building on your own PC if it's powerful enough.
Before a build starts, Iris shows about how many credits it will use. A typical build is about 6 + 8 a page (about 30 for three pages), twice that with Best quality, and its browser checks and repairs are part of it.
Not at the moment. Iris Free costs nothing if your PC has a 24 GB graphics card, one site on Iris Cloud is an $8 top-up with no subscription, and your first plan payment is refunded in full within 14 days if you've used less than 20% of its credits.
